What We Do
Mikayla Cares Foundation supports families by providing swim protective gear and kits, increasing awareness around learning to swim, educational resources and financial support to families who cannot afford swim lessons.
Meet Mikayla
Mikayla Courtney Fishburne was born on July 10, 2007. On June 16, 2012, less than a month from her 5th birthday, Mikayla died in a residential pool. She was visiting a home in south Florida with a relative and entered a residential pool without adult supervision or lifesaving protective gear.
